This water damaged concrete basement floor in Plymouth, MA had been covered with wet moldy carpet. The surface had adhesives stuck to it, was cracked, and the surface was very rough.

We prepared the floor by cleaning the concrete, removing all adhesive residue, grinding down any high spots, repaired the cracks and filled the low spots before applying an epoxy primer coat.

For the finish coat we applied Metallic Epoxy Coating, (color pigment used was #P1145, “Rum”).

The floor is now beautiful, easy to keep clean and an asset to the home — and since the concrete is sealed, there’s no fear of mold reoccurring.
